Frequently Asked Questions about IFWs
Before sending a support e-mail, please review the FAQ below to see if the answer to your questions is there. If it is not, please do send us an e-mail and we will respond as quickly as possible answering you to the fullest extent we can.
What is an IFW referral link? Do I need one? How do I get one?
A referral link to an IFW is a link to the site that includes a code
that allows the referring person to get credit whenever someone joins
the IFW using that link.
It usually looks something like this:
http://www.plasmas4free.com/default.aspx?r=749493
If you are going to go green for someone else, you must use their link
to access the site when you join the IFW in order for them to get
credit for your green.
If you are paying others to go green for you, then you must provide them your referral link to access the site.
You get the link from the IFW when you join and complete one offer on
the site, or whatever the requirements are for that site to be green.
How do I figure out the rules of an individual IFW site?
Some place on every site is a link to their Terms and Conditions. Often
it is a very small link at the very bottom of the page. Sometime they
are combined with the privacy policy or other policies or in the FAQs.
The Terms and Conditions page will always tell you exactly what you
can, or can not do for that site. You should always read the Terms and
Conditions, most are similar and after a few you will learn to scan for
important parts.
Do I have to use my real name and information?
Yes. You must provide accurate information when signing up for the IFW
and the sponsor offer otherwise your signup will not be confirmed, you
won't receive your payment or item, and you will probably be banned
from the site.
Once I complete an offer how long does it take to show as "green?"
It can take anywhere from a few minutes to several days. It depends on
the offer your choose and how they report the status of your offer
completion to the IFW. Each IFW will clearly tell you how long it takes
for each individual offer.
If you complete an offer and it does not go green after 10 days you
will need to complete a "manual credit" request with the IFW. Each site
will have its own specific instructions for how to submit the needed
information.
When
I sign up for an offer that is a free trial, do I have to keep it if I
decide that I am not interested in it, or can I cancel it?
Obviously the whole system and "freebie industry" hinges on the fact
that enough people will keep the product to allow the sponsor and the
IFW to continue to make money and be able to provide the prizes.
For that reason IFWs will ban people that promote cancellations, or help people to cancel, and the topic is taboo on the forums.
In general, when possible you should always try to pick offers that you
may be interested in keeping. You can find many that cost less than the
going rate for greens, meaning that you can keep the offer and still
make a profit.
If you must cancel, you should wait until near the end of the trial
period, giving the product a fair try, and your referrer more time to
complete the site.
In the forums people talk about paying on "green" and paying on "approval". What is the difference?
Paying on "green" means that as soon as you join the IFW and complete
an offer, and your offer completion is reported to the IFW by the
advertiser or sponsor, the referring person is obligated to pay you
immediately.
Paying on "approval" means that they do not pay you until they have
found all the referrals they need for that site, and the IFW has
approved them to get their payment or free item. This normally takes
much longer and you will have to wait for your money, but it typically
pays a little more.
Can I complete more than one offer per IFW?
No. The IFW gives one green for each unique referral. So if you are
going green for someone they can only get credit for you joining the
IFW and completing an offer once, and the IFW will only allow you to
join once.
You can also only sign up with each individual offer once. You can
however, come back to the IFWs you joined in Method 1 and complete them
for Method 2 by finding the needed referrals to complete the site and
get your reward.
Can I join an IFW more than once?
No. They consider that "fraud." You can only join each IFW once per
household. That means that if you have two computers you can not join
from both, and that your spouse or family can not join the same IFW if
they have the same identifying information as you (email address, phone
number, shipping address, etc.)
Can I get a prize from an IFW more than once?
Sometimes, it depends on the IFW. Some sites allow you to complete the
requirements for a prize and then do another with the same accont, but
that is more the exception than the rule. All of the sites we advertise here are "forever green" or "evergreen" and you may cash out an infinite number of times as long as you obtain the necessary number of referrals.
