Guide to IFW Sites
Freebie trading uses hundreds of websites called "Incentivized Freebie
Websites" (IFW's). IFW's present trial offers from thousands of
companies that pay the IFW site commissions to advertise their products
and services. The IFW's provide an cash and/or prizes to people to sign up for the trial offers and get a certain number of
referrals to do the same. Prizes vary on a site-to-site basis, and may include PayPal payments, iPods, Laptops, TVs, Bose accessories, Apple accessories, and so much more.
How it works
IFW's
get paid the commission from their sponsors on any person that signs
up and completes the sponsors trial offer. For instance say Free Credit Report
uses an IFW to advertise their offer for a 7 trial for a service
to get receive a credit report. If you like the
service, after 7 days you get billed each month at the regular price.
If you don't like the service, you can cancel before the 7 day trial
period has expired, and that ends your subscription to the service and you will receive no further fee but still retain credit for the completed offer. Some offers will have a sign-up fee of around $2.00 to $5.00 but you will never face additional charges if you do not continue the service.
Free Credit Report is just
an example, not all offers require you to pay for a trial period for
their products. Some just require you to pay a small shipping and
handling fee, others cost nothing at all. Even though many of the
offers cost money, it is much less than the money you will make by
completing the offer.
Completing offers
Completing a site's offer requirements to obtain credit(s) is known as 'going green' or 'greening'. If you sign up
for an IFW site through another affiliates referral link and complete that
site's offer requirements for a credit, you 'went green' or 'greened'
for that trader.
Typically, traders will pay you between $10.00 and
$50.00 for a 'green' depending on the difficulty and expense of the
site's offer requirements, prize value, and amount of referrals
required.
Once
you complete the required number of offers (go green) on an IFW, it provides you with a referral link that you can use to
refer other people. Once you have qualified, you can now begin referring others through your referral link, encourage them to complete the required number of offers, and get your prize, all at no cost to you.
Lets say the prize you
picked was in the form of $120.00 in PayPal cash and
the IFW says you have to get 3 referrals to receive the prize. This means they are paying you $40.00 per referral. You could pay 3 people $20.00 each to complete the site's offers
(go green), and still earn $60.00 for yourself, for doing nothing other than referring them.
In a nutshell, big-time companies pay a great deal of money to advertise on IFW sites. Then, IFW sites work to get people to sign-up for the advertiser's services or purchase their products by offering cash and prizes to those who help them continue to earn from their advertisers. Finally, you earn your desired prize by helping the IFW site obtain more affiliates. In the end, it is a win-win-win situation, all three parties involved making money.
